The Cavs made the Celts earn it tonight. The game was pretty much back and forth all night. I am thinking the next game might not be so close. The Celts will study their opponents a bit more and then come out and bury them. Sorry Cavs! Love you guys but you did what I wanted you too...flushed the Wizzers...I mean Wizards. There is always next year. Let's face it...having to get past the Celts, the Pistons AND THEN the Lakers...too much of a stretch this year.

It was a wild night for the Cavs. After a disappointing loss AT HOME against the Wizzzzzers...ooops...Wizards, tonight they took it.
And that guy with the Crybaby shirt on...if you got elbowed in the face, hit in the chest, and poked in the eye like LeBron, I am SURE you would be REALLY screaming foul. But it didn't do Heywood or Caron any good to beat on LeBron. Cuz we gots Szczerbiak and Boobie AND Z. It don't pay to play dirty. HA!

Hey, Wally...I volunteer to make you those turkey/cheese bagel sandwiches if that will keep the 3 pointers comin!

Do you know how many times the Cavs have been in that particular sitiation with the Pistons? Heartbreaker! The Hawks managed to force a game 7. (sorry Big Chris!) I really doubt the Hawks will take it. Us Cavs fans are just hoping the Celts will get tired out!

Cleveland now has itself an Arena football team. But I don't do arena football. It reminds me of the neighborhood guys playing football in the backyard on turkey day. Not all that great. My bro broke his nose for the first time that way. Blood and mud and turkey with gravy. Yum.

Today was a pretty good day for me...as far as sports. I got to flip back and forth between the Cavs game and the Tribe. The Cavs game was WAY more exciting, tho.

Cavs 100 Wizards 97...that means the Cavs are up in the series 3-1.
YEEEE HAAAAWWWWW! (excuse me) I was SO glad to see Daniel Gibson up on his game.

The Tribe coulda swept the series with the Yankees...coulda shoulda woulda...but didn't. They took the series 2-1...losing to the Yanks 1-0 today. Imagine sitting thru 9 innings and only one run. I likes a little 'citement! And with the high cost of baseball tickets...them boys best be doing some scoring and running! Defense is doing good...the pitching was good...but where's the offense? DANG!

There is something else that happened today to make me wonder...the Browns traded up in the 4th round of the draft...with the Cowboys...traded up TWICE with the Cowboys. Just WHAT did they trade them? It couldn't be that they traded spots. No one...especially the Cowboys are going to trade just out of the kindness of their hearts. Should I be nervous?

EEEEEEKKKKK!!!! How the mighty can fall...so quickly...so hard!

When LeBron has an off night...they ALL stink. They did so GREAT Monday night!!! Then did the total opposite, plus WORSE, Thursday night. And to think, I put off watching Grey's Anatomy for THAT piece of...um...curbside leavings.

At least my Tribe won their game tonight. Surprising! ANd I really do not enjoy reading those 'rumors' about Bonds and the Tribe. I'd rather the Tribe sit in last place.

I am STILL looking forward to football season.

The Cleveland Indians have disappointed me so far this season. They are off to a dismal start and I don't see any signs of it getting better. Even my beloved Pronk is mediocre are his BEST. sigh. So much for MY baseball season.

NOW...the Cavs. Saturday's game against the Wizards was good. Nothing like making it close and keeping my biting my nails (and I HATE biting my nails). But tonight's game was UNBELIEVABLE! Left them Wizards in the dust! LeBron did some good moves, as always. Someone must have really ticked him off! Then there was the "you can't see me" 3-pointer by Damon Jones...and the OOPS! shot by my guy Sideshow Bob (aka Anderson Varejao). Boobie landed a good one. Surprisingly Gentle Ben Wallace made some free throws. (you and Shaq...you CAN get better!). And just what the HECK was the purposeful trip move by Arenas on West? Are you in kindergarten Gilbert? Sheesh!

One more game to put the Wizards away for another year guys. Let's sweep it. I am sorry I doubted that you guys could pull it together for the series. But, you can't blame me! You haven't exactly been giving me a REASON to believe this season. Glad you all could pull it together. Now just KEEP it together...k?
