At the very least...the Tribe rallied to make sure the Red Sox didn't sweep the 3 game series. Back-to-back 3 game series for the Tribe: swept the series with the Tiggers then took at least one game from the Bostonian Sox. 4 out of 6 don't stinketh!

Shoppach and Sizemore were our big hitters tonight. The pitchers stay away from Hafner.

We will be back to fight the Tiggers AGAIN tomorrow night...no rest for the weary.

AND tomorrow night is also game 5 of the NBA playoffs between my Cavs and those ill firing Pistons.

Tonight is another contest between the Cavs and the Pistons. I have no high aspirations for the Cavs...nor have I written them off. All I can do is hope they do their best...and hopefully their best will surpass the Pistons.

The Tribe also faces the Red Sox tonight (ya saw that one last night, didn't ya BC? I TOLD you we had an equally crappy pitcher up...actually, not even EQUALLY crappy to Schilling...crappiER!)
My satellite company, in their infinite wisdom to squeeze even more cha-ching out of my already depleted funding, does not allow me to view anything on Fox Ohio! They WILL however let me view Fox Pittsburgh! Like, yeah...that is EXACTLY where I want to be.

There seems to be a 'problem' with LeBron James. One of his teammates aske LeBron to put his John Hancock on an open letter to the Olympic Committee (?) denouncing the situation in Darfur and protesting the Olympics taking place in China. LeBron said he wasn't putting his name on something that he did not have enough information about at this time.

I DON'T BLAME HIM!!! Whether it is right or it is wrong...his name MEANS something. There is alot of controversy whether or not his contract with Nike had anything to do with it. Well, in some ways, yes. He has to legally be careful where he steps. Unfortunately, he is not just one guy anymore...he is a whole company in himself!

So, instead of complaining that he wouldn't sign the letter, perhaps someone would like to take the time to educate him about the situation and THEN find out if he will sign or not. Also, maybe everyone should take the time to find out what his issues ARE.

*LeBron James must have given hundreds, if not thousands of autographs in his three years of NBA stardom.

It took just one polite "no" to a different kind of autograph request recently for the 22-year-old forward to stir up a hornets' nest. *

The hardest part of my night will be switching back and forth between the Tribe/Tigger game and the Cavs/Pistons game.

How in the heck could this happen? Two Cleveland teams playing at the SAME time?

And important games...Cleveland Vs. Detroit. PLEASE CAVS! BEAT THE CRAP out of those Pistons!!!

I will not be quite so upset if the Tribe loses to the Tiggers tonight since we took the first two games in the series...but still...how GREAT would that be IF we slugged the snot out of them one more time!
