As tired as I was last night, I curled up in the corner of the couch, propped my head on pillows and turned on the Reds/Indians game. As a Tribe fan it was PAINFUL! We still have to shore up that bullpen a bit more. It's better than it was last year. That isn't really sayin' too much tho.

And BARFIELD...it just WASN'T your night was it? Just what sport were you playin' last night? You inventing something new? Combination of lawn bowling and golf. And, just for the record...don't throw the ball just for the sake of throwing the ball when the guy coming in is knocking you off your feet! Twice you cost us last night! I know...you did some good stuff today to try and make up for it.

ALSO...(horn fanfare here) Today marked the BEST Home start record of the Tribe in 107 years!!!! Congrats to you my boys! Keep it up! No time to let down your guard!

I am glad to see the Byrd was able to get us past the Reds again this afternoon. We are neck and neck with the Tigers. Can't shake them. Someone is due for a slump and someone is due to get over the hump. I am just prayin' it isn't the Tribe heading for the slump this time.

I am highly anticipating the Cavs-Pistons duel Monday night. You know where I am going to be come 8 p.m. EST. Oh, yeah...biting my nails right along with LeBron! Let's hope that he sets a good pace for them and also that Marshall is doing his 3 pt. magic shots again. Anderson, honey...you need to be on your rebounds! You can rebound so well! Just y'all dont't be given me a heart attack!

AWWWW...poor Tigers. *snicker* Lost both games of their double header today with Boston. BUT the Indians WON their game against the Twins...A-gain. You know what THAT means doncha? That puts the Tribe back at the top of the AL Central. OOOOOOOO, I feel good!

The down side...the ChiSox won today. They are still closing in.

Another yuck...the Pistons branded the Bulls tonight which means...if the Cavs can play their game Friday night, then it will be Cavs vs. Pistons AGAIN! OHHHHHH!!! Does the nightmare never end?



It has been a long one today folks. I shall be out quicker than the light bulb tonight. And I am SSSSOOOO lookin' forward to it.

May the Nets not find the net.

The Cavs were so far off tonight! They cannot afford an off night like they had tonight! They had the chance to put Jason Kidd and the Nets away...and they just royally blew it. Like tumbleweed in a sandstorm. They had no aggressiveness in them! Wimpy wimpy wimpy!

I am so freakin' glad to see the Bulls steppin up their game, though. There would be NO END to my celebration if they could put the Pistons out of the playoffs. I do NOT want a repeat of last year. I am, of course, assuming the Nets do not take the series. Lord, give me strength!

Thank heaven for the Indians this week. Although percentages put them one game back of the Tigers...if you REALLY look at the stats, I don't consider them to be behind the Tigers at all. We need to keep an eye on the ChiSox, though. Have to stay ahead of them.

I need a new hobby. These Cleveland sports teams are gonna kill me.
