Browns, Indians, Cavs, etc.

 And From My Seat....
Back to Full Blog

Okay...crap weekend for sports. From MY vantage point.

Ohio State totally BLEW it...a fall from #1 to #7. Unbelievable. What is going to happen against Michigan NEXT week?

The Cavs are trailing behind Detroit...again (have I ever mentioned that I hate Detroit?). However, the Lions lost to the Cardinals..hee hee!

The Browns...after having such a GREAT lead against the Steelers in the first half of the game...came back and snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory. HOWEVER...I hadn't expected it to be so close. The Browns defense leaves a lot to be desired...and when this season started all I asked was that the Browns be competitive. They have done that. Today was the first time us Browns fans got a glimpse at the old Browns/Steelers rivalry. I do believe next year we will be showing some REAL improvement. This year is better than anything we have done since the return of the franchise. So, even tho we lost the game...we still gained some respect. Way to go guys! Just need a little more tweaking to the defense...and the offense needs to have a little more staying power. But you are getting there.

Which brings me to this....the Ravens LOST! HA! I know that means the BenGALS won...but there was room for that. Next week the Browns play the Ravens and it gives us hope. If the BenGALS can beat them, then the Browns surely should be able to.

The thing that REALLY chapped my buns...the Colts LOST to the Chargers! How the heck does THAT happen? Come ON guys! So you ended up losing to those pukey NEPS last week! You can't let that rattle your cage! Peyton...baby...pull your act together. PLEASE!

Other than the Broncos playing like DA BEARS today...I got nuttin else to say except....

I really feel badly that Wisconsin State ran over Michigan U...NOT!

I searched for football fans, and your site came up. And I a agree its a bad week for you Ohio fans. But to try to say the the Browns could stand up to the Steelers? Well that is what made me smile.

Then explain this....1)going into the game the Steeler's coach said he was AFRAID of the Browns and what he could do to his team; 2)the Browns dominated the first half of the game; 3) the Browns lost by a field goal...3 pts. I think the Steelers better watch out for the Browns next year. They really aren't all that...

Sounds like a whole lot of coulda, shoulda, woulda... or better said-- sour grapes. Come on now, some lucky return (fluke) hardly equates to the Brown and Outs posing a threat. I mean come on Lady, they have lost the last nine times they have met. Perhaps you need a dose of reality.

There are no sour grapes on MY part. And I am not the one making excuses...lucky return. TWO 'lucky' returns? The squealers just couldn't handle it. The only reason the Browns lost the game was NOT becuz the Squealers suddenly got better the second half but becuz the Browns came back and did themselves in. Face it, the Browns are finally becoming a team again and the Squealers are getting some competition. Maybe there was some 'shoulda' and there definitely is some 'coulda'...and there is no 'woulda'...only they 'WILL'...next year. The rivalry is back. So maybe YOU had better take YOUR dose of reality, buddy.

Anderson has been touted as one of THE best quarterbacks in the league. Our offense is awesome. It's just our defense that still needs some tweaking. At least our team doesn't have to resort to thuganomics like taking someone out at the knees and chopblocking. It's a shame when a team has to resort to such street tactics.

Well, I can see that you have convinced yourself that you a have a
"team".... nothing I can say, will speak louder than the outcome of this hoax of season. Time will tell. Ne way... enjoy your delusion for now. We shall see what Brown can do for you!

Isn't it wonderful when we can all have our individual likes/dislikes and opinions?

Yes, and even more wonderful, is those who actually pay attention, versus only looking for battles. Something to ponder.

You are so funny. See ya this Sunday lady... I will take so much pleasure in laughing at what Brown has done TO you... and ummm... of course... never for you. L O L

At least you got the 'lady' part right...as for the rest...yada yada yada. Let's see...the Browns won in over time...and Pittsburgh...hmmm...what happened in over time? oh yeah! The Jets won. I really am sorry about that. Really.

I really would rather you refrain from getting to personal by saying things like "What Browns do TO you" You don't know me. I don't mind a little friendly competitive spirit...but it seems like you are looking for an argument. I don't do arguments. It's only sports.

Just to clarify, like you say, sports are sports. Fans comment. So as for the Brown Streaks, and when I said what can the Browns do TO you... in football speak that only means things like "dissapoint you" or "make you cry." Nothing more, nothing less. Maybe you are more intense than you know. Happy Thanksgiving.

You are right...sometimes I AM more intense and it is easy for me to take some thing the wrong way. It is other things in my life creeping in. Sorry if I took offense where none was meant.
