Browns, Indians, Cavs, etc.

 Yay Teams!
Back to Full Blog

I very much dislike the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have to...I'm a Cleveland Browns fan. You have to promise to hate the Steelers when you take your oath of allegiance to the Browns. So, of course I was on the edge of my seat in the fourth quarter of the playoff game between Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay. I was not too thrilled cuz I was sitting there using language unbecoming to ANYONE as I thot those lucky basssssstions were gonna grab another victory at the last minute. But...nope! HA! Pittsburgh went into the playoffs with the same record at the end of the season as the Browns...except that two of the Browns' losses were with to the Steelers..and Pittyburgh got to play just that one more game than the Browns. I'm cryin' for ya Steeler fans...I feel your pain...NOT!

Today I was happy to see Eli Coming...the Giants did good! Eli was deliberate with his passing...and it worked.

Again...should I shed tears over the fact that the Titans went down in flames? lemme see... nope again!

The Cavs are on a 3 game winning streak, and with as many losses as wins this season...it is surprising that they have risen to 2nd place in the central division. I have been waiting for the fire to start...but it hasn't started yet...so I'm thinking this season may be a float. Way too far behind Detroit.

AND (drumroll) Monday night...The BCS Championship GAME! TAAAAADAAAA! Lord PLEASE don't let Ohio State do another world's worst belly flop this year! Let them stand tall and put up a good fight! PLEASE?

You have to admit that was a great game - Steelers and Jaquars - right down to the last 20 seconds.

I have never been a great NC fan - so I was cheering for the working men from Pitt.

As to tonight's game -= I will be teaching - (my second job) so I will miss the game - quite frankly with spreading out the bowl season to a week past new years day - I have lost interest - at this point I couldn't really care less - and I think this is what is happening to college football - attendance is down at the bowl games - I wouldn't be surprised if TV ratings are down too - they couldn't give away tickets to the Fiesta Bowl (WV vs. UO). The scalpers lost their shirts!!!! This year there hasn't been one good bowl game, period. (Unless you are die-hard fan of one team and your team won, you might differ with me on that opinion.)

I can hardly wait for the baseball season.

Right now I am cheering on the baby dogs- we have the Coyotes in town - a bunch of rookies playing over their heads lead by a couple of veterans (Doan, Jano, Morris and Ballard). Playing very well, thank you - - they are only two games out of first place - which in hockey at this time of the season is equal to 0.

Thanks for the post. Good luck to the Buckeyes - I am a a Jim Tressel fan - I think he is a great gentleman and coach.
