 And Down They Go
Back to Full Blog

Sad day...waste of time day...

The Cavs never had the lead at ANY time today. I didn't think they'd win this one but I thot there would be a WEE bit more going on. No one could do anything right. Oh, West and James both had their brief (and I do mean brief) shining moments. They just all looked like they felt like they were in the middle of a bad dream. We came close...but this wasn't horseshoes that they was playin'. So, close don't count. Sorry BC...no Cavs/Pistons match up. I didn't want to have to 'witness' that again this year, anyway.

*****************************
And the Tribe let the REDS sweep them! The REDS! gadzooks! The REDS are...well...let's just say, fertilizer. And the Tribe let them sweep them right across the field, into the parking lot, back onto the busses...you get the picture. The Tribe is lack luster at best. The AL Central has no fire in it, period. blech

I think I am going to sign up with Habitat for Humanity this summer...and spend my time in a more useful fashion than to waste it watching baseball.

Well, if your theory is right Ron, it will be most interesting to see what happens come football season. Everyone knows that Browns fans are some of the most fiercely loyal fans out there...and there is a major Browns Fans club network ALL over!

Congrats to your Celts, BC. I hope LeBron gives the Cavs managers/owners, et al one more chance to get someone in there to help him. If we had one more GOOD player, we might just make it past the line.

Congrats on your Sox too. The Tribe has consistently lacked enough REALLY great talent. They play like they really couldn't give a flyin' fig. Why should they? They get a big fat paycheck...what does it matter to them?

Basketball is easier to rig than football - the calls by the refs can decide the game much easier than in football. Remember the crocked ref last year?

Charles Barkley just got named in some major gambling issues - I am sure that this is tied into the basketball issues. Many former basketball players are tied into the gambling issue.

Basketball is more tied to the advertizing and TV dollars than football. As I said basketball is rigged!
